Blue and Gold
Nico had his Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet last night and he was quite excited to win third place in the cake decorating contest. He won a canteen (the theme was "Camp with a Scout") and won't put it down! We had a great time creating the cake - which was all his idea. Everything had to be edible per his instructions...

Wait, if everything is edible, what is the teepee (tipi in Utah) made out of?
The teepee is an ice cream cone. He did cave in to my whining that I couldn't think of anything other than spaghetti noodles for the sticks out the top and they kept breaking...so I got to use toothpicks.
an ice cream cone is a great idea! I like the spaghetti noodle idea, too, but they do tend to break.I love the jelly bean rocks!
That's a great cake. You guys did really good. Wow I love it. Way to go.
Yay Nico! That's a lot of boys! My last scout group had 5 total I think.
